Walking Groups

Walking is really important for physical as well as mental health. Walking in a group can be even more beneficial due to the social interactions which occur.


Below you can see a selection of local walking group opportunities.  You can also find a list of recommended walks which is a work in progress but will hopefully expand in the future.


If you are out on a walk within our PCN boundary do keep an eye out for public benches and consider taking a photo to submit to our Public Benches Map.

Community First is a registered charity operating in Hampshire "which enables individuals and local groups to be the difference they want to see in their local communities".  They arrange walks led by trained volunteers. For more information visit their website here.

Nordic Walking UK have a group based in Brockenhurst and undertake regular walks around the New Forest.  They have free taster sessions but a membership is required to attend their regular walks.  There is lots of information on their website including a list of upcoming walks.
